Today was good, but not as perfect as yesterday.  We planned to go to the Poteet Strawberry festival, but did not realize that so did a WHOLE bunch of other people.  We decided to turn around about 3 miles before we got there.  The traffic was bad and we were moving about 2 mph.  But before that went to the the River Walk and ate at a great restaurant called the Republic of Texas.  Good mexican food with great flavor.  And a very smooth maragrita.  Yum!!!!

We went back to the hotel, tried swimming in a very cold pool, then walked over to a BBQ restaurant by the hotel.  (Not good enough to plug.)  Then we headed over to Amy's Ice Cream and it was good enough to plug.  With my previous Baskin Robbin's experience, I would consider myself an expert in this field.  And it was good.  Yummy.  Delish.  Mmmmmm.  (Get the idea?)

Tomorrow we meet my high school buddy for breakfast and head home.
